Steal or Splurge

That brand new coach bag, that pair of Gucci shoes. Glamorous, we know (trust us). But is it really necessary? As teenagers, we know that spending a months worth of pay or allowance on one pair of shoes isn't always worth it. So, allow us to teach you when to throw it all in, and when to hold that wallet close with a few of our favorite steals and splurges.

These, two uber glamorous bags look the same. So what's the difference? The Alligator Pocket Flap bag from Coach, to the right, is $7000, so trust us it is a major splurge. But why not settle for something similar and cheaper? This Turnlock Doctor bag, exclusively sold on UrbanOutfitters.com, is only $58 and cute as can be.

What's better than having a simple, yet hot, black dress in your wardrobe? Saving over $300 on one dress.
Both dresses are quite adorable, the one to the left is a simple black thick strapped mini-dress from Urban Outfitters with a special detail of lace in the back. The dress to the right is a black halter backless mini-dress by Betsey Johnson,. Although both are dresses are perfectly adaptable to any wardrobe, one is $385 (Betsey Johnson), while the other is only $58 (UO).

It's important to know that getting a steal is not always the way to go. For instance, chosing the steal of a normally high priced leather pump could lead to discomfort in the shoe, due to the fact that the more expensive shoe is more likely to have better craftsmanship, ie, more comfort. Keep in mind, ladies, that a steal is good, but the overall quality of the product is what you should really be looking for. Good luck, and happy shopping glamorous divas.

When searching for your perfect new dress, keep a few things in mind.
